How to Become a Drone Pilot
Piloting an RPA (drone) for professional use requires a specific process to obtain the PILOT CERTIFICATE.
Since 2016, the RPA Pilot Certificate has been the only valid document recognized by ENAC to practice professionally and to obtain a standard insurance policy for the RPA.
Penalties for non-compliance with regulations have increased significantly to tens of thousands of euros, with potential imprisonment, and also hold the client responsible for any operations carried out without proper authorizations.
Theoretical course and exam
16 hours of lessons at our training center with professional instructors, educational materials, and a final exam.
Medical examination
An aeronautical medical examination with an ENAC-authorized physician is required, in accordance with ENAC SAPR regulations, edition 2
Practical course and exam
Practical course and exam in compliance with ENAC guidelines, regulation edition 2, at an ENAC-authorized training center with a final exam.
Send documents to ENAC
To obtain the SARP (Remote Pilot Certificate), the necessary theoretical and practical certificates required for its issuance by ENAC must be sent electronically to ENAC.
